Our Story

Since he was a boy, Cameron remembers the warm vibrancy, calm atmosphere, and delectable smells wafting from his parents’ kitchen. Cheerful grins and belly laughs throughout the day completed the picture. That’s what life at the Gerber home has always been.

When an unexpected course of events found them with a restaurant space on a main highway, the Gerbers decided to give it a go. A few months and experiments later, they served up their homestyle Mennonite food tradition in all-you-care-to-eat buffet style for the first time. They had no idea that bringing the atmosphere and flavors of their home to a new restaurant, Pebbles, would be such a hit. Word caught on like wild-fire. Then Covid struck. From the silent kitchen came an idea and Pebbles Frozen Favourites was born. That’s part of the story…

It continues. Now even from home thousands of guests can continue to fill their bellies with tasty food, their hearts with lifted spirits, and their heads with great memories.  That’s the most exciting part of our story.
